At Foxdale Farm, we take pride in having the latest and best olive-pressing equipment, and in keeping our building and equipment clean and orderly. We have a Pierilisi press from Italy ... the latest in olive-pressing technology. The press uses the 2-phase integrated cold-press method, which guarantees a larger yield than traditional presses and also enhances the organoleptic qualities of the oil.

We would be happy to set up an appointment to give you a personal tour, show you the press, and discuss your requirements. Our staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and we look forward to meeting you and answering your questions about growing, harvesting, pressing, or bottling olive oil.

Pressing Your Olives

We can handle loads of any size. For pricing information, and to schedule a date and time for delivery of your olives to the mill, contact Astrid at (805) 440-8959.

Olive Bins

You may use your own bins, or rent bins from us. Just give us a call at (805) 440-8959 for availablity and pricing. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Vented macro bins (48 x 48 x 32 inches) are preferred.
  • No wooden bins will be accepted.
  • No bins that weigh over 800 pounds will be accepted.
  • Please limit the filling of large fermenting bins to below a mark 8 inches from the top.

Oil Containers

For storing oil, metal or plastic drums, 30-gallon or 55-gallon capacity, are preferred . No glass containers, please.

You may bring your own oil containers, or purchase containers at the mill. We have stainless steel lusti containers available in capacities from 3 to 30 liters, and we can order other sizes as well. If you need a large quantity of containers, please let us know in advance.

Bottling

Choose the shape and size of bottles that you like. We carry some bottles in stock, and we can also fill your custom order if there is a shape or size we don't carry.

Labeling

Our professional designer can help you create your labels and marketing materials. Custom packages are available for making special gift labels for holiday gifts and promotions.
